About Me

Hello, this is Asnawy Mohamad (Way for Short), the creator of the webcomic "Diary of Red panda". I started this webcomic after getting rejected from almost every job I applied to after graduating with a BFA in Animation at Edinboro University (now Pennwest). With this comic I would like to share my experiences as a Cham American. Cham are an indigenous group from present day central Vietnam and parts of Cambodia. I hope one day there will be more Cham stories to enjoy since I can only talk from my own experiences. Indigenous and ethnic minorities are not a monolith and there is no way one perspective can tell the whole story.
